AMEN  This mother should be ashamed for even allowing this man to raise her daughter as long as he did. She knew the potential consequenses of an affair and should have taken measures to prevent this dispicable crime against the man and the child. Where is her reponsibility? No one expects their mate to lie. I'm wondering if it has to do with the fact that the man is a doctor.

I agree.  This man was lied to and his emotions have been messed with.  Why would he have thought Salena wasn't his child.  And now that he knows, he should still remain in the child's life but should not have to pay any child support.  He did not father this child but has an emotional connection with her.  No one has brought up the fact of where the real father is.  Does he not know that he has a child out there that he might want to love and raise OR maybe he does and he's one of those fathers who doesn't care.  Either way, this real father needs to know the truth and pay up.  He contributed to this affair and child. 

I strongly agree with you all, but when it comes to the relationship that the dad and Selena had......  why did he take her to the park at 10 years old to tell her that he wasn't her real dad?  He should have consulted with the mom before lettng an innocent child be so hurt like that.

After watching this show I was TOTALLY disgusted and angry at how Maria acted in regards to this whole situation. She was laughing in one piece of the tape and had a ridiculous smirk on her face the entire time. She should be absolutely ashamed of herself. I don't think that she truly cares about Selina and Enrique's father/daughter relationship. She is a fake, malicious, disrespectful, greedy, selfish liar who only wants money from him and that is just wrong in so many ways. Maria should be prosecuted to the fullest for fraud. Woman should NOT be allowed to get away with this. There are decent men out there willing to step up to the plate, be a father and care for their children and then on the other hand you have woman out there like Maria taking full negative advantage of it. SHAME ON YOU!!

 

Now, I do disagree completely with how Enrique handled the situation when he told his daughter about not being her bio-father. He should of handled that differently and because of that he has hurt his daughter that really respected him and looked up to him. Unfortunately he can't get that back. However, I hope that someday they can both reconcile and build a healthy relationship with each other again. Best of wishes and god bless!!

 I am single and childless, yet I feel that men do not have rights in this country, which is very unfortunate. I feel like all four of the adults lacked judgement. Enrique should have confronted Maria about this instead of bringing Selena into it. Even though Mia was concerned, I don't think it was her business. It was wrong of Maria to lie to Enrique and she should return the money to him and search for the biological father to take him to court immediately. I think that the young man who sat next to Gloria Alred on the stage was the smartest of them all and obviously paid attention in biology class. I felt that Gloria Alred was wrong and backwards on so many levels. Her attitude and logic was very disturbing to me. I also think that Selena was smarter and more mature than her parents and stepparents. She sounded like she was thirty instead of thirteen and she learned from their mistakes.

I am in 100% agreement.  This mother should be sued for the child support payments she did receive from her unknowing husband/later ex-husband.  My sympathies are with any man in similar situations.  What this woman did to Enrique is called fraud.
