You keep mention that the daughter went to Palestine country, but there is not offical country called Palestine. The west bank Jericho is in Israel, and before belong to Jordan.

The local Palestinian like to refer to their area as Palestine country.

I was born in Israel and living in the US now.

From my knowledge of the Palestinian people, her boyfriend will convert her to Muslin and force her to cover her face, and have his children and do all the house work and caring for the children, and restict her from any outside contact. He will mistreat her and physical abuse her. As Muslin in case of divorce the father take the children, and that what keep the woman staying.

Right now he is lie to her until he marry her, and than he will show his true face.

Unless someone save her, she will be too afraid to do anything.

Save her, as she have very dark future.

Where are the men in this family?  It is clear that this guy has no respect for women and/or the women of this family.  I am so glad that Dr. Phil is stepping up to the plate as a man for this family.

 

It is clear that this 18 year old is extremely immature, naive and selfish.  She has no responsibility for the outcome of her actions which either way will affect those that love her for the rest of their lives.

That girl needs to come home.  I've been there!  He will tell her anything.  He will marry that American Girl. She will get pregnant. His parents will always have control and will control her as well. GET HER HOME!!

Then get her counseling.

He doesn't  even sound smart enough to fill out  the mounds of paperwork it takes to become and American Citizen through  the INS.  I bet he wouldn't call his own mother a bitch.

I know  if you had interviewed  his parents you would get a whole different story.

It's a free ticket for them to come to America.  Apply for Social Security and they get it!!!

I know it happened to me.

He loved me.  He promised me the World.  We married. I went to the INS he swore he married me because he loved me.   He became and American Citizen, it took five years for the papers to go through.   He divorced me in a week. He got a call from his father.  One week later I was divorced!  THEY HAD A LOT OF MONEY!

Now his parents are here in the states.  He owns a business and has  remarried.

 

GET THAT GIRL OUT AND GET HER SOME COUNCELING!  God bless her Mother.

I would just like to say that I think Katherine is a very courageous woman.  She is smart and brave.  I, as a mother of two children understand the concerns of her family.  I as veteran of the US Navy, know the concerns of her being in the middle east at this time, I, as a survivor of abuse understand how hard it is to leave, and feeling scared to death to leave, and I as a woman, understand how it is for a woman to be driven by her heart and her heart alone.  I think Katherine wll go on in life and be successful and find the love she deserves!  I wish her the very best in life!

 

I'd like to know why after the first time she left  she was still allowed contact with this guy? Yes, the parents ALLOWED her to continue to have contact, they took no steps other than her word she wouldn't do it and they bought her a cell phone for easy access.

 

I would have immediately changed my phone number, gotten rid of the internet and NOT given her a cell phone. They say they would answer the phone when he called and he was rude or would just grunt, HANG UP. Why hand the phone over to her in the first place?  Put a calling block on  any number outside the U.S. for incoming calls and outgoing calls. I don't have long distance on my home phone since I pay for it on the cell phone. Sure, she could have found others ways to contact him but it would have been harder and he wouldn't have been able to call her 50 times a day. It's the parents responsibility to keep their children safe from themselves and if taking extreme steps to do so means a little inconvenience to the adults, so be it. This is a girl, who at 16 was going to fly half way across the world because she was in love and they trusted that she would stop all contact with him?

 

I do hope this time around there are house rules put in place, she is made to follow these rules and this guy is blocked completely from having any contact with her. Otherwise she will be right back over there, married and living a life of hell.

i recently flew my niece from scotland to canada get her away from a kurdish boy who was keeping her against her will.

I have had her in canada for 6 months he has threaten my family he calls my house 100 times a day he has threatened her sisters we are at the end of our string with this idiot who has refugee status in UK

I have writen to police imigration everyone to try and have him deported it is to bad a british subject has to leave home to get a way from a refugee....

he had sex with her when she was 14, he kidnapped her....it goes on and on
