Please try and be thankful for the good things.

C'mon, Dr. Phil.  Poor Matt and Ruby return from their honeymoon cruise only to find their first home destroyed by fire.  Give us a break.  I'm 65 and have never been on a cruise so forgive me for not feeling all that sorry for them.  When I came back from my honeymoon .. oh, wait a minute .. that's right, I didn't have a honeymoon because my husband was in the Air Force and we spent the first 1 1/2 years in Germany.  It took us over two years to buy our first home.  That home was in California, but it was 42 years ago and only cost us $17,000.  Give someone a home who has children and are living in a car because the job they have doesn't pay them enough.  Those are the people I really feel sorry for.  By the way, I no longer live in Calirfornia..moved to Illinois 43 years ago.

I'm thankful for all of my yesterdays, I'm thankful and grateful for today and I look forward to and pray for tomorrow. I'm afraid that bitterness will cloud your happiness. I'm happy for anyone who needs and gets a leg up in life. I try and relax and let the good things happen. I'm excited about the good things that happen to others. I believe that there can never be too much goodwill to mankind.

You know what makes me sick, giving so much to the poor when united states citizens children don't have health insurance because there parents are actually getting off there dead beat butts and trying to make it in the world.  That's what makes me sick.  We better figure out a way to pay for ins.  for the workers of the U.S.  or who is going to pay the taxes so we can continue to pay for the people on welfare not to mention the illegals that we have to pay for.  I mean we need to pay for there births and not are own right?  Isn't that the way it is?  Another thing that I need to get off my chest is scholarships.  We have black ones, hispanic ones, do we have white ones or would that be racist?  We have all black channels, we even now have a school in Seattle that doesn't allow whites.  I don't know about you but as a white women I'm getting a little nervous.  I am not racist but if you are going to have black scholarships and hispanic scholarships, why not white.  I would write caucasion but I don't know how to spell it, because I couldn't afford to go to college.  This is messed up everyone is saying equal rights yeah right.  I have my own business work my ass to the bone and can't afford the eight hundred a month for ins.  One good sickness and I would be able to get everything for free.  That's why I don't give to charity anymore,   nothing actually goes to charity.  And Oprah, I LOVED her have watched her for years and lately when I turn on her show its all black people, if we are all equal, why is it like that, I don't get it.  I really don't it bothers me I have a lot of different raced people and am not saying that there shouldn't be those scholarships but if we are all equal then why are they even being broke down in that way, we are still separating and the people that preach it the most are doing the exact same thing.  There should be an everyone scholarship, My child is white and if he wanted that black scholarship or hispanic or low income, he couldn't because he's white, racist?  I think so.  Messed up.  Feeling a little low cause I'm white

so you're 65 and have never been on a cruise - so what?  so you're going to hold it against someone who took a cruise for their honeymoon?  what is wrong with people like you??  just because you didn't or couldn't do something - doesn't mean those that could are bad - that's just mean spirited!!  happy holidays to you, too!!  try losing everything you own in a fire - THEN come talk to me and see how sorry WE feel for you THEN!!
