Hey All

I'm so disgusted with myself. Early February I lost 15 pounds and as of yesterday I have managed to put it all back on.

I weigh 243, I am 5'4", I am going to give it another go. I do weight watchers and I was hoping I would find some friends and encouragement here.

I'll check back later.

no worries

I'm 21 and have been over weight my entire life. i hit my highest weight at 240, then lost 30lbs when I moved away, but after a terrible breakup and getting sick, i gained back my 30lbs and now weigh 229. I want to weigh 150 eventually but right now just have a goal to be between 200-210 lbs by July 2008. I need support from some where and thought maybe I would find it here.

I feel horrible and gross when i look in the mirror. i have very low self esteem...and miss how i felt even the 30lbs ligher. i can only imagine how great being under 200 lbs would feel. I need to lose the weight, not only for self esteem reasons but becasue I also have Endometreosis and I have been told losing weight helps with the pain.

anyone wanna share more stories and motivation with me? either on here or my email is schernoff124@hotmail.com

you have plenty of time to rebound back on track. Focus on baby steps. Plan your method of attack on weight with morning noon and night.separately. each meal at a time.If you can walk, then lets go. again, baby steps. add a schedule for walking,or any type of movment for exercise.

How we eat is another big area. But Im thinking if we go at it 1 meal at a time it should be easier.

I stepped on the scale three weeks ago with large goals and small ones. I want to lose 100 pounds over the next year and it's nice to have found someone to converse with here. As of three weeks ago I weighed 296 pounds I have lost a total of 7lbs. so far. I have been exercising and eating well. Some days are better than others and I'm watching Dr. Phil now and am so inspired it's unreal. So if you need someone to talk to email me or just post out here.

Good job MG. Seems like your off to a great start. Just remember to keep on doing , to lose that weight. If I had a nickel for evry lb I lost and replaced I'd have a jet.

Jeez

I sure would like to know why some of us are eaters and other are not. I know, theres a long list, but jeez, it sure steams me. Staying motivated, on track, diciplined,or just plain good seems to be mission impossible.

Well folks , Im with you. Im 70-90 over and its a bummer. Thanks to Big n Tall Im still able to have jeans , but I sure would like to walk into a store and purchase something off the rack.

As of yesterday I have been back on track , but I know I can do more, and be better.

I already cheated with sneakin one of those puddiing cups. Anybody know how many calories in that.jeez

new here and ready to get started

I'm a 29 year old female from Canada, who has completely let myself go :(. I need to lose weight in the worst way, I feel tired all the time, out of breathe after mild exercise and just concerned about my overall general health. I want weight loss so bad I can taste it, I just purchased Dr. Phils book and am hoping it will give me the answers I so desperatly need. I am hoping by posting on these boards I can get some of the support I don't get at home and in exchange can offer support to others. I have gained 90 lbs since I met my husband 12 years ago and I am hoping I can get back down to the energetic and happy woman he met.

I have 150 pounds to lose and am trying to get down to 270 so I can have bypass surgery.  I have been trying for 5 years now and need to do it for my health.  I am also going to try Dr. Phil and the weight loss group along with the Biggest loser.  You can keep writing and I will give you some encouragement.  I also need to have some encouragement and hope that we can do this together.

Hi Northernchick

I'm a 45 yr old woman from Ontario, Canada - also have let myself go - with physical problems the weight just seemed to come on - and keep on coming!!! - want to lose just over 100 - about 125 ibs - really need to get my health back - am now using a walker (was in a wheelchair for almost 3 years), had 2 knee surgeries, have pain syndromes etc - weight certainly isn't helping matters.  I have really just started this today! - haven't even read the book yet. - know about it from the show etc. - problem is can only do so much exercise.

Anyhow - would love to keep in touch with you - and others out there - for moral support,

By the way - were are you in Canada?

Hi patti

know how you feel - got up to 325 - lost 20 and gave gained the 20 back plus 10 more - this summer - so much for losing wt eh?

Oh well - I am going to try Dr Phil's plan - I did his diet - a couple of years ago and lost 30 pounds - without reading the book!- think how much better I could have done if I had read it - which I do plan on doing this time.

Good luck with the plan - keep on losing  :)

Did you see the Widget board - were you can record your wt loss - pretty neat eh?

Diane
