Hey All

I'm so disgusted with myself. Early February I lost 15 pounds and as of yesterday I have managed to put it all back on.

I weigh 243, I am 5'4", I am going to give it another go. I do weight watchers and I was hoping I would find some friends and encouragement here.

I'll check back later.

Hi there:  Nice to hear from you.....I go to WW...we have a good group...one girl has lost 100 pounds, so she is a great motivator for me...also do curves 3x a week.....its not an easy course thats for sure....I also look up info in Dr. Phils book......read some this morning.....and I know I am eating too many  carbs...so for awhile I am going to limit my carbs to before noon....and drink more water.....thats a hard one for me.....I cut up orange slices and put them in water and let it sit in the fridge  then it is bearable.....its good you are making changes ...keep up the good work....its a real struggle I know....just have to keep trying and not give up...dont know about you...but I have done that toooo many times before......

SOMETIMES i FEEL LIKE GARFIELD....HOW ABOUT YOU....BUT WE CAN DO IT.......

HUGS....KATY

YOU CAN DO IT

Quote From: karenap

i just started two weeks ago.  I really need to lose at least 100 lbs. I am a single mother and work full time and am very depressed with my wieght i think about it every day. I just started curves and have been into it for two weeks. Ive lost 11 lbs so far so hopefully i can keep goin.

I started kinda of a mixture regimen.  I started a mixture of weight watcher's, low carbs, and exercise about 4 times a week at the gym and walk at least 1-2 miles a day at work.  Today I was even walking out there in the rain.  Well, I think you're doing great.  Here I am on the third week and I've only lost 1 1/2 lbs.  I'm thinking that I might stay away from the scale for a while.  I don't want to get discouraged.  In the past 4 years, I've gained 50 lbs.  and am tired of feeling sorry for myself.  I've dedicated the next year to getting healthy and feeling more energetic.

I just want to say that YOU CAN DO IT!  Hang in there.  All we're going to do a year from now is complain about how much more weight we've gained instead of saying look what I've accomplished.  I'd rather accomplish something than to continue to complain about something that can be changed.  I'm not saying it's easy, but it can certainly can be done w/ a lot of hard work.

We may be the only ones out here...but we can help each other.  I too am just starting...again.  I need to lose closer to 200 lbs and can't even see the tunnel let alone the light at the other end.  Don't give up....we can lean on each other, and both of us will be stronger.   Lisa
You're not out there alone.  I'm almost ending my 3rd week.  I've done this over and over again, but to no goal achieved.  I'm a person that has worked out all my life up until about 4 years ago after my separation.  But now that I'm almost 40, it's true that your metabolism slows down w/ age.  But I've dedicated the next year to myself to be more healthy.  Like Dr.Phil said, why wait another year and complain about how much more weight you have gained.  Instead I've chosen to do something about it and not complain about it.  Kinda like be about it, don't just talk about it.

Hi everyone.....had a good day.....went to curves and did 2 rounds and stayed on my program today.....it really doesnt get any easier for me...everyday its a struggle...much like an addict I guess...anyone else feel that way?

I have all of tools.....just have to use them to be successful....having over 100 pounds to lose is difficult....so it is nice to have buds with the same problem....heavens knows our thin friends dont understand...even my hubby...he has never been overweight.....so lets encourage each other and use the keys to success that we all know....who knows more about weight loss than us.

2 TSP OF OLIVE OIL PER DAY WILL HELP KEEP YOU REGULAR WHILE DIETING Believe

HAVE A GREAT DAY.......WE CAN DO THIS.......12 MONTHS IS MY GOAL...TO HAVE MOST OF THIS WEIGHT GONE .......

HUGS

KATY Bye For Now

Hello, Katy,

My name is Brigitte and we're in the same boat.  I just want to let you know that you're worth all this hard work.  One pointer that my friend/co-worker gave to me was when you're working out and you're telling yourself that you sooooo don't want to be doing this.  She told me to start encouraging yourself w/ positive talk and asking yourself how else are you going to get to your goal if you're always quiting.  I tried it the other day.  I was doing the eliptical trainer and I was only 5 minutes into it and I told myself i was going to do an hour.  I started telling myself that I deserve it and my body needs it.  I got through it.  I did the 25 minutes, plus 20 minutes bike and then 15 minutes of weights.  It felt really good.  Drink a glass of water if you feel hungry.  It really does help take your mind off of food.

WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER.  Hope to hear from you soon.

Brigitte
