Hey All

I'm so disgusted with myself. Early February I lost 15 pounds and as of yesterday I have managed to put it all back on.

I weigh 243, I am 5'4", I am going to give it another go. I do weight watchers and I was hoping I would find some friends and encouragement here.

I'll check back later.

100 pounds to loose and just getting started - AGAIN!

Quote From: misstrust

I know how you feel. I stepped on the scale a little over a month ago and could not believe my eyes that the darn thing read 290 lbs. My first instinct was to throw the scale out the window and go sit on my couch and have a nice pity eating session but thankfully I chose to do something about it instead. I'm down to 272.4 this morning with a goal to see the 60's by the end of this month. My eventual goal is to get down to 170 lbs but that mountain sounds too high to climb so I'm setting smaller goals in the meantime that I can reach in a month or two. I haven't tried weight watchers (probably the only diet I haven't tried) but recently finished reading Dr Phil's book and found it to be quite helpful. I'm trying to incorporate small steps in my daily life such as replacing the junk food with healthier alternatives and walking at least a mile a day. So far, so good! I know we can do it...one day at a time, one step at a time. Each and every day that goes by I'm feeling stronger and more confident that this will be the time that I finally do it for good. You can do this....every journey begins with one small step. Have a great weekend!

Liz – I hope this note finds you well. I’m not sure if were you are at this point but I can perhaps help you a great deal. What do you eat in the morning and do you do any walking, how is you hips, bone structure?

I have started a personal blog to give some accountability to my actions while I am trying to lose weight. You can find it at http://helpjasonloseweight.blogspot.com. Me Too

Hi -  I just watched Dr. Phil and am committing to take the challenge to lose 100 pounds this year.  I have been fighting a losing battle with weight most of my adult life - had some good times, but then slipped back to bad habits.  I'm looking for support from others in the same battle.

Coney Island

I know how you feel also. We had a company picnic at Coney Island last weekend.  My 2 little neices wanted and my sister wanted to ride all the rides. I have never had trouble getting into the rides before.  But this time I realized that my belly was so large that I almost did not fit!   I am 5 feet 3 inches and I weigh 235.  I am diabetic and have high blood pressure........ All because of my weight.  I loose it and then I gain it back.    But after that experience....I am ready also.

I stepped on the scale three weeks ago with large goals and small ones. I want to lose 100 pounds over the next year and it's nice to have found someone to converse with here. As of three weeks ago I weighed 296 pounds I have lost a total of 7lbs. so far. I have been exercising and eating well. Some days are better than others and I'm watching Dr. Phil now and am so inspired it's unreal. So if you need someone to talk to email me or just post out here.

It's my turn!

I am 5'5 and now weigh 224.  I have lost 21 pounds so far but there is so much more to lost.  I am happy with the weight that I have lost so far but I am frustrated that there is so much left to lose.  It is hard to stick with it, even though I have seen results.  I am a Mom of 3.  3 kids in just over 4 years and I sort of use that as an excuse for being so big.  No more.  There are no excuses left.  It's time to lose that weight.

Hi Amy, I hear my same struggle when I read your message. I have 343lbs at 5' 7". In the past I start out strong and seem to lose my determination. I am looking for that support when I start to feel like giving up. What about you?
