SHES GOING TO ADOPT MY NEPHEW I AM RAISING HIS 4 SISTERS FROM BIRTH THE OLDEST IS 12 YOUNGEST 6 BUT I WANT TO ADOPT MY NEPHEW TO KEEP ALL THE CHILDREN TOGETHER AND BECOUSE HE WAS PLACED IN HER HOME BY SOCIAL SERVICES SHE GETS TO ADOPT HIM SHE CAN NOT HAVE KIDS AND HAS A HISTORY AS BEING BY POLAR WELL SHE PROMIST NOT TO KEEP MY NEPHEW BUT SHE HAS DECIDED TO KEEP HIM BECOUSE SHE SAYA SHE IS VERRY ATTACHED TO HIM HES BEEN WITH HER FOR 8 MONTHS THE ADOPTION HAS NOT STARTED YET BUT SOO I WISH I NEW WHO TO TALK TO THAT CAN HELP ME GET MY NEPHEW HERE WITH ME HE WAS LIVING IN MY HOME BUT IN AN EMERGENCY WAS PLACED WITH MY COUSIN SHE CUT OFF ALL TIES WITH MY FAMILY THIS STORY ABOUT ADOPTIONS JUST REMINDED ME OF HER  AND HER SNEEKY WAYS WHAT PEOPLE WOULD DO JUST TO GET A BABY  WHATS THIS WORLD COMING TO WITH THIS MESSED UP SYSTEME SHE GETS TO KEEEP THE BABY BECOUSE ONCE THE CHILD IS PLACED AND UNDER 3 ODOPTION IS OPEN I DONT THINK PEOPLE REALIZE HOW CROOKED THE SYSTEME IS NOW I KNOW BE VERRY CARE FULL WHO YOU TRUST WITH YOUR CHILDREN SHES THE KIND OF KID NAPER THATS ALOWED TO KID NAP SCARRY

I am a member of the adoption community so I have a couple different takes on this situation..

I am a Birthmother in an open adoption. The child I placed is 4 years old. I spoke with "hundreds" of potential adopting parents before deciding on the couple that I chose. My conversations were both via phone and the internet. Never in a million years did I mislead, lie, or keep those I was not interested in-- hanging on a thread of lies and deception. I was offered money in my dealings and conversations with potential adopting parents. One couple offered me $10,000 to have my baby-- and basically disappear. Other offers were a car, rent paid, etc., etc.

I think the offers go both ways. I happened to want an open adoption, and the only way to know if I could get that was to meet with my child's potential family. The adoption laws are so tainted. We live in a day in age where anyone can be anyone on the internet. Marie, Jen, and Crissy should hold some kind of accountability for not ending all ties when they found little lies. Conversations over the internet are not reliable. They should have done investigations on who and where Melissa came from before they got emotionally involved. I am not saying what Melissa did was right. I am just saying that it goes both ways.

I think Melissa deserves a life of jail and to endure the type of Hell that she put these women through. She needs serious psychological help because what she did was nothing short of psychotic. She showed no remorse for the pain and anguish she put these women through.

As a Birthmother I am getting so sick and tired of Birthmothers getting stereotyped because a few make the headlines. What about the potential Adopting parents? I know that the offers I received while choosing an adoption plan for my child were totally illegal.
