Topic : Roger King

At the very end of every show, we can see this note "In memory of Roger King"

 

He has obviously been a very important person in Dr Phil's life.

 

I would appreciate it, if the Dr Phil webmaster could create a "Roger King" section on this website, and tell us a little more about this special human being.   Some public personalities we hear to much about, while others are treasures waiting to be discovered.  Roger King seems to be such a person.

I too would like to know who Roger King that Opra had mentioned going to his funeral and seeing Dr Phil. They did not say anything more on Roger King and his name at the end of the show...in memory of.

Roger M. King,  was a television syndication executive who helped make national stars of talents like Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Phil McGraw and Alex Trebek.  He died in December.
