I think the victims are Spitzer's wife and daughters. I would not have stood beside him and listened to how sorry he is...He's sorry he got caught. What an arrogent ass. I hope she divorces him and teaches those girls that a woman doesn't have to put up with that kind of treatment.  How dare him act like that. He sure isn't God's gift to women.  Did you see those "Mr. Spock" ears?  You always say that you teach people how to treat you. How could she love him after this? If no other woman would have anything to do with these jerks, they might  straighten up. He needs a big "A" stamped on his forehead.  As for the prostitutes, they weren't victims either.  They were well compensated. I've been poor but didn't sell my body for money. I had a good dad and lost him last Jan.  Mrs. Spitzer shouldn't allow those girls to be around him. He's not a good dad or he wouldn't have acted so selfishly.

NO RESPONSES?!?!?

I was shocked to see this topic had no responses.  I'm new at this arena, and have been "talking" to a woman on the Current Events Board...then, this one caught my eye.  Maybe New Yorkers don't see this?

Not only did Elliot Spitzer disgrace his family, he left the State of New York to a man who I belive is not qualified for the position.  Governor Patterson may be a very nice man, but he was handed a ball of wax and we the people, are not being governed as we should.

It woke me up as to the importance of the running mates...ALERT FOR NOVEMBER...and I'll be evaluating the Vice presidential candidates very carefully.  That person may sway my vote.

Elliot Spitzer, a pit bull on crime...himself a criminal...unless prostution is decriminolized for certain people.  I agree with all that was said in the opening, but I'm more irate about what this did to New York.

His wife can divorce him, as well she should...his daughters can have nothing to do with him...that is all amongst them, and like any family hit with adultry, it is their right to make family decisions.

What about New York...we cannot "divorce" Governor Patterson, so we will have him for 3 more years!

I am so disguted with Spitzer..had he died, become unable to serve, there would be no blame.  ALL of the blame goes to Spitzer...he knew what he was doing, as such, had no right to run for Governor...he was experienced enough to know he could be found out.

Thanks Elliot...I voted for you, believing you to be the right candidate...should have stayed home...talk about wasted votes!  This was not "family" business...you shafted our State.
