Thanks for tip! yeah, doing a workout at home is good for me. I go to college and work 7 days a week, and have a child...so I don't have much time to get myself out of the house ALONE to workout out haha. So you're starting today as well? Good luck with everything, and your daughters as well! WE CAN DO THIS!! ; ) Let me know how it all goes!
I know its hard I have 3 kids 7,5, and 8mths I am 26 .and a husband which makes 4 :) find a babysitter  lots of walking and cardio you have to have this time for yourself and health it will make you a better mom we all need to get out of the house. It doesn't have to be 1-2hrs it could be just 30 min and get a running stroller there amazing your son will love it. good luck.

Fat, fat, fat...just plain fat.

I'm a youthful, energetic 31 y/o mom of two boys. A 3 and a 2 y/o. I'm fat, real fat. I really don't mind my size (28). I think it's other people who have the problem. The only thing that got me thinking I should loose some weight was my sister who received gastric by-pass and lost over 200 lbs and now is in a size 8-10. A couple of weeks ago she brought her 5 y/o son to football practice. One of the boys on the team told her son that his mom is fat and has a fat butt. My nephew started hitting/punching this other kid for calling my sister fat. (which she is not) Well, I don't want my children to get into fights defending my honor. They are too young to know I'm a fatty and love me just the way I am. I have perfect health and I want it to stay that way. I want to loose weight but I have no motivation to do so. I eat pretty healthy for the most part. I do have my days when I can't help but to eat ice cream and cake or cookies, etc but that is during "that time of the month." What should i do? Where should I start? I go to nursing school full time so I won't have time for another 2 years before I have "leisure time". What's a woman to do?

Have any suggestions?

Hello Everyone,
Well I started week 3 today.  I weight in this morning and I lost 3 lbs. That makes a total of 8, so now I only have 101 to go .  I'm so glad I started two weeks ago.  If I hadn't I would be in the same place.  It's encouraging to know that I don't want to stay this way anymore. I'm listening to Dr. Phil's book on CD and I'm working on my three goals.  I'm trying to do things in the book as I missed something last time cause I didn't continue working those keys.  I'm hoping on this journey I will learn more and not have to do this ever again. I'm taking it slowly and letting things sink in.  I'm hoping you are all doing well and reading the book and working those keys.  Will check in with you next week with some more loss, I hope!!!!!

Hi Peggy,

I'm so glad you're doing so well on your goals and following the book.  I just finished week 1 and found I lost 2.5 lbs.  I am really encouraged also and keep up the good work.  Write me and check in if you can.  my email is mariagroll@cox.net.

how's everyone doing?

hi everyone,it's been awhile since i have posted on here,i hope everyone is doing great and staying accountable with our challenge. I have lost a total of 12 lbs.,so far and am very happy about that, though its been very hard to stay focused with several things happening in my life. one has to keep in mind the first 2 KEYS to really get to the heart of the matter as to why we do the foolish things we do to ourselves. why does food have to be so tempting haha! I hope to look at food as a stable of daily needs and not using it for all the stresses in one's life. this time we can all do it,with our giving each other support. have a great week everyone. hope to hear your success so far, seems to be pretty quite in here, compared to the start of this challenge. good luck! debbie

100 lbs to go... Day 1

I need to lose 100 lbs, and I'm very determined to do so by the end of next summer.  I figured 2lbs a week is doable.  I've been living in a body that "just isn't me".  I used to be very active, but now I don't go out and do the things I used to.  It makes me very sad.  No more!!  I'm taking off my fat suit and becoming the person I know that I am deep down inside!!  I'm starting to read Dr. Phil's book, and I'm very inspired and ready to go.  Any good suggestions, tips, helpful hints?  I'm open to anything.

Need to lose 100 +lbs

Hi my name is Tracy I am 38 years old, 5'5" and I weigh 265lbs. I would love to lose 100lbs. I have tried Weight Watchers (didn't work), I've tried watching what I eat (didn't work). I joined a gym and went 6 days a week and did all cardio for a month and lost maybe 3lbs. It is frustrating because you see on these shows where people lost so much weight in such a short time that I wonder why it didn't work when I tried.  Can anyone give me advice on what worked for them.?
