There is a will there is a way!!!

I am a mother of 7 and I found it vary hard to get out to walk because that is my favorite way to work out and my best friend told me about  Leslie Sansone Walk at home dvd and now I do 5 miles in my living room so there are no Excuses at all If I can do it anyone can!!!!!!!! Sunshiner

Need Encouragement

I am 46 and just watched the first weight loss show of the season and really want to loose some weight. I have lots of excuses why I shouldn't work out, and now could use some excuse free tips. I have two sons, 9th grade and 7th grade, I do not work out side the home but am always busy managing the household. This is the first time I have not had to work extensively with the school and my oldest son (special needs) so am feeling a bit in limbo about how long this will last (not having to go in everyday). My excuse to not go for a walk today is it's kind of chilly - 58 degrees. But I know the dog needs the walk and so do I. So . . . a little encouragement and support would be much appreciated.

I'm 58 and I too just watched the first weight loss show of the season !!   It Was Great !

I need to lose about 50 lbs but would be glad to lose 30  , but  it's sooo hard !

I don't work outside of the home either because I had a knee replacement done and I'm  still not back on my feet completely , plus I have arthritis and if I could lose some weight I'm sure it would help me... Its still difficult to go out walking very far but today I did it and I'm planning on going tomorrow morning ... You owe it to yourself and your family to get into shape ...I know you can do ! 

SOO  YOU GO GIRL !!!!

GET OUT FOR THAT WALK AND KEEP A JOURNAL OF WHAT YOU EAT THIS WEEK AND YOU WILL SEE A LOSE NEXT WEEK .. GOOD LUCK

Okay Ladies, here's my take on this:

 

LOSERS DON'T MAKE EXCUSES!!!!

 

We are all LOSERS ( of weight, of course, what did you think I meant??  LOLLLLL  )

 

We have all scientifically proved that sitting on our dead butts just isn't cutting it.  It's all about moving, heating up those muscles and breaking a sweat.  Sometimes you just have to get creative.

 

Everyone of us goes to the grocery store....when you get that cart loaded, don't head for the checkout!!!  Take five fast laps around the parameter of the store!!!!  Pretend you are playing supermarket sweepstakes!!!!

 

Got stairs in your house?  Climb them.  Ten trips up and down in a row, as fast as is comfortable to you.

 

Sitting on the couch watch Dr Phil?  Grab 2 big cans of soup or baked beans and do arm curls....

 

Any movement is a good thing.  Repetitive movement is a GREAT thing!!!

 

Come on, as soon as you read this, get up and DO SOMETHING!!!   I have faith in you!!!

 

Remember!!!!   LOSERS DON'T MAKE EXCUSES!!!!

Overweight and sick of it!!

I am so overweight and so sick of it!!

Today is the first day of the rest of my life and I want to make the right decisions about what I eat and how much movement I make.  I felt like it was a gift from God today when I was flipping the TV channels and ran into the Dr. Phil show about how so many of us Americans were out of control and so overweight.  I am hoping that I can get the help and support that I need to make the necessary changes here on this website.  I have a big problem with staying motivated and have very little self control.  I will try to get onto this site daily to seek help from all of you and hopefully give you the motivation and help that you may need.  I am going to start a diary here today too.  Let's do it and loose some weight folks :)

 have the same problem, I can never keep motivation for more than a week!! So I too started a diary, so I could really use some tips!! My goal is to lose about 100 lbs!!!

Dr. Phil is so right with his first Key Its the our mind set our thinking Getting our thinking and determination on track and know this is the time and what we want and need. I know so far I have lost 28 lbs and have 90 more to go and we can do it by Gods grace and you are right He had you see that show to day for a reason He is all sovereign.  We can do this!!!!

I too love to walk!!  I didnt think about the "Walk Away the Pounds" until I read your Quote!!  Thank You and Best Wishes to Everyone...  I need to lose 55 lbs!
