Topic : Any one From Eastern North Carolina

Hi My name is Donna and I am from south eastern NC.  I live about 70 miles inland from Wilmington NC.   I was raised here by my adoptive parents and found out recently that my birth family is from Duplin County NC.

 

I can't get out and visit  because of health reasons, but can socialize online via emails.  I have type 1 diabetes since age 11 and I'm now 36 and take 3 shots a day.  I also have MCS [multiple chemical sensitivity] that keeps me at home most of the time and limits me tremendously.  Also am recovering from trigger finger surgery in 4 fingers 2 on each hand.   Since the surgery I had to go on antidepressants as I developed depression after this surgery and man was it awful before the meds.  Thank God for helping me through that and giving me a supportive husband.

 

I am married and have no children because of health issues, but do have 4 spoiled dogs we call our furkids. 

 

I love studying God's word and doing bible studies online.  What gives me strength to deal with the health issues and limitations tremendously. 

 

If you would like to email me and socialize via email only I'd be glad to hear from you.  But because of health issues I'm limited to emails only.  Luckily I do have one close friend that understands and one that lives in Georgia who I talk to weekly and has been the best friend I have ever had.  I love her like a sister.

 

I am a country person and love country music, romantic movies etc.  I can't stand horror movies.  My husband loves those though.  

 

I am a huge pet lover.  Especially of the doggies.  I enjoy taking my doggies strolling when I go for a walk.  I have 4 small doggies whom I and my husband love as a child.  They know us as mama and daddy :)

 

I love talking about pets, God's word and a variety of topics.    As an adoptee I enjoy talking to those involved in adoption.    I don't drink, smoke or party just a pretty down to earth person who might occassionally drink a little wine like on Passover. 

 

I'm just a down to earth person who does love an occasional clean joke. :)
