Dr. Phil revisits some of his most amazing stories of the season. First, Tim and Anne Marie were desperate to save their mother, Sylvia, who was constantly talking to the voices in her head. After 10 weeks of treatment, see the inspirational turn Sylvia has taken. What will she say when she meets Dr. Phil face to face? Then, just over a month ago, two women told Dr. Phil how they fell victim to alleged con man and bigamist Ed Hicks. See how their story helped another woman and brought Hicks into police custody. Plus, 18-year-old Natalee Holloway disappeared last May during a senior class trip to the island of Aruba. Dr. Phil is joined by Natalee’s mother, Beth, her lawyer, and a consultant to the Aruban government who defends the work of the investigators. Have there been new revelations since the last time Beth appeared on the show? Could rescuers be on the brink of finding the missing teen? Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

One Person has Value

Quote From: duckydes

OK, it's very hard on the parents to have their daughter disappear and not know what happened to her, but come on!  She is just one of many, many missing people every year.  Why is such a big deal made of this one young lady who, actually, brought some trouble on herself by getting drunk and hanging out with people she didn't know?

I am not saying I don't sympathize with the family, I do.  But really, will they ever know what happened to Natalie?  I do not understand the commotion being made over this ONE PERSON!

You must not be a Christian or you would know the value of One Person. Even though many of us are in God's flock, He will spend unlimited time looking for just one that has strayed. Where is your heart?

Stay in the US

Hey people - how many foreigners go missing in the US ?  How many murders go unsolved in the US ?  So is the answer to impose the whim of a US TV host independent countries sovereignty?  Hey why don't you just go invade and send the kids to Guantanamo ?  Seems that the rights of people to due process can be subverted by a TV host.  Banding together to boycott a nations main industry.  Young kind goes to beach island.  Gets drunk, leaves a bar and may be violated/raped?  What proof?  Stick the kids in jail and rot until they give you the answer you want - send them to Guantanamo too.  Self serving pandering crap.  If every country that had a kid die in the states boycotted the US we would be an isolated nation.  What a bunch of self righteous crap.  Keep the pressure on to solve and investigate but when traveling abroad realize you are ABROAD - you have the rights of a foreigner and act accordingly.  Just like the little brat in Singapore or the idiots that get caught with drugs in Malaysia .  If you want all the rights of an American - stay in America .

Syliva

Dr Phil------------

I think you missed a great opportunity to inform your viewers what the doctors found to be wrong with Syliva. A thyroid problem? What kind of thyroid problem?? And what else was happening with her health to make her act that way? I have a thyroid problem but I don't act the way she was acting.

More information might help someone else to seek medical attention as things aren't always what they seem.

She has strength

Quote From: retiredt

A country who depends on tourism must commit itself to protecing its tourists. To ignore a murder (if that is the case) is to put everyone who goes there in harm's way. Our friends who have gone there tell me that Natalie ended up in the worst section of Aruba where forced drinking is the norm and that they were warned not to go there. It is devasting that a young girl made mistakes, but to not find anwers about her disappearance is to allow it to happen again and again. I support Dr. Phil in cutting off all U.S. tourist dollars there until the matter is resolved. To go there is to support their negligence and probable corruption.
It takes a woman with strength to fight and be knocked down again and again and continue to go back for more.  Beth cannot give up this fight.  Until she can bring her daughter home, she won't give up.  I wouldn't either. Natalee was on vacation like millions of other 18 year olds last year.  One that we know of didn't make it home.  Because of  Beth's fight, and  the exposure she has given this country that is jerking this family back and forth, we are aware of it now.  I have no desire to visit a country that shuns an American family looking for their daughter and at the same time protects the riff raff who are responsible for this dissapearance.  Shame on this county of Aruba, and anyone who supports it by buying their souveniers there.

Hey, Floortie....

Quote From: floortje

Yahootie, I'm not sure which planet you live on, but it sure ain't the same as mine.

You contradict yourself in point 1 and 2. How would a young pretty (I beg to differ) white woman stick out like a sore thumb amidst all these American tourists...???

The 2nd part of your post makes even less sense. Your history (exept for the very recent couple of hundred years) is the same as the European history. For the very simple fact that your country didn't exist before then and most of the first "Americans" came from Europe. And no, if we do bash America it has nothing to do with history, but everything with this "we are the best" attitude that many of you seem to have. Get it into your thick skulls, you are not the best! Stop abusing your power and stop spreading so much hatred. Thanks to your "war on terror" I'm not safe on my own street. America has angred so many people that they are even attacking my country to show you how angry they are (pretty pissed off really!). Before this "war", I was perfectly safe, but not anymore. Thanks America!

Also, not many Europeans will have tried to enter the US illegally as we are allowed to enter legally. In fact, we don't even need a visa! Or do you think Europe is the same as Africa, Asia, South America, etc? Now that wouldn't surprise me, coming from an American....Ha! Ha! Use your 401K to get some education...

Your constitution is even abused by your own President. Isn't the NSA "eavesdropping" on Americans and didn't Bush say that this was a "vital tool against terrorism"? I'm sure the constitution and the law says that this is not allowed......Oh, and how much does your President care for "missing" Americans? He never mentiones them in any speach and he hasn't mentioned Natalee's name once....With so many Americans missing in your own country, it would take him weeks to mention them all! And that's not even including the amount of Europeans and other foreigners missing in the US!

And finally, my daughter will NEVER be allowed to travel to NYC on her own. And even if she did, she would know better not to get drunk and get into a car with 3 strangers. Simple and common sense really!

Don’t care for eavesdropping…But, you don’t mind lying?!?!

You’re not only angry. ..Your profile has you residing in the good ole US? And, you think Yahootie needs to use his 401K to get some education?!?

"...America has angered so many people that they are even attacking my country to show you how angry they are...." So, is this Kansas, Montana, Colorado....where???

I didn’t read anything in Yahootie’s post that denies that MANY even most of our ancestors were European. Yes, our country is a youngster compared to many others. A lot of your tirade seems irrelevant, bitter and hate-filled!!!

If your post is based in fact and you are angry and feeling threatened by the DECISIONS OF THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT, and dislike ‘Americans’, why are you listing your country as “US” under your profile??? Get some guts and get honest!!!

If you really dislike the spread of hatred then stop spreading it!!!

The issue is that a 19 year old girl is missing! Her family, her friends, her community, her state and her nation as a people want to know what happened to her and are willing to boycott, rattle some cages, do some shouting and NOT DROP the issue until Natalee is either returned alive or for burial!!!

YOU can make a difference!

OK, we've tired of all the time-wasting and posturing by the Aruban authorities. We know the main suspect's father is WELL CONNECTED and most likely involved in the coverup - The search team asked him politely if they could scan the underlayment of his back yard - which would end all suspicion of his physical involvement and clear his name - he refused. That search team and others noticed FRESH CONCRETE in his backyard! Get real people...My wife lived on the islands, and I've visited Aruba. The going motto there is " it's not my job man ". Prospective tourists need to know that their security is not a major priority of the country they chose as a vacation destination.

What you can do: BE PROACTIVE - contact CRUISE LINES and CRUISE ASSOCIATIONS and let them know the facts re: Aruba, and how you feel about a company or group that still endorses travel there. Contact Travel Agent Associations and all your local travel agents with your feelinigs. I'll give you a jumpstart on some contacts. Let's work together to make justice count!

1) ASTA ( American Society of Travel Agents ) email: askasta@astahq.com   and/or call 703-739-2782  Fax: 703-684-8319

2)NACTA ( National Association of Commissioned Travel Agents ) email: nacta@aol.com  tel: 703-739-6826  Fax: 703-739-6861

3)ARTA ( Association of Retail Travel Agents ) 800-969-6069   Fax: 615-985-0600

4)CLIA ( Cruise Line International Assoc. )  To contact:  www.cruiseassoc.com/forms/form.html/?id=16 or cut and past this address onto your browser.

There are many more Travel/Tour Associations you can Google also.  We know Natalie Holloway may never be found. We also know true justice may only be realized by hurting the Aruban government and that of the Netherlands with the only thing they understand - Financial Leverage.

Please give a few minutes to Natalie's cause and you'll know you actively took part in honoring her remembrance. SPEAK OUT and let travel institutions know a TOTAL BOYCOTT of Aruba, and education to travellers of Aruba's justice system is the right thing to do.    I did.

you have got to be the most heartless person i have ever encountered.  natalee's mother is so smart.  what better way to get the word out then to get it out yourself.  i couldnt imagine losing a child.  if faced with what this poor woman has had to deal with, i too would move heaven and earth.  maybe you should get a heart tin man.

And fresh concrete poured in his yard!

Quote From: maggie1213

This case has been going on for too long.  Could someone tell me why Joran's Dad wouldn't let the helpers search his property?  Of course, it would be futile now.  I believe, with all my heart that his influence has caused this terrible delay in finding Natalee.  I will not forget what he said at the beginning of this tragedy:  "No body, no case".  I believe he knows what happened to Natalee as well as the three boys.  When someone admits to a crime, is it not right to arrest them and jail them until they are either proven guilty or not guilty by a jury?  Seems right to me!  The prosecutor in Aruba is probably being persuaded also by the dad, or he would have tried to complete the case by now.  In oether words, I believe the entire Aruba government is corrupt.
Many searchers and other observers reported a fresh concrete patch in Joran's father's backyard. His neighbor also reported seeing this patch poured about the time Natalee went missing. The search team from America asked him if they could scan the underlayment of his backyard and conclusively clear his name of all suspicion. HE REFUSED!  If the Dutch and Arubans feel we Americans just fell off a turnip truck, so be it. But it is our dollar that they are so afraid of losing - not a human life or serious breeches of justice to mankind. So let's stick it to 'em where it hurts. Google Travel Agent Associations and Cruise Line Assoc.'s as well as the Cruise Lines themselves and let them know what they need to do to keep our business.

Boycot Aruba

I just wrote a personal letter to the people at Regis and Kelly today, after watching Dr Phils show. On regis and Kelly they are actually giving away a trip to Aruba as a PRIZE! I feel it's disrespectful and told them so, politely of course :-) I asked them to remove the trip from their travel trivia wheel in respect for the Halloway family..

I expect fully to be ignored by the show... but I at least took a stand

get real

Quote From: jpamps

My wife and I have different opinions on this subject.  First is my wife.  She states that no matter if Natalie had sex or not, drank too much or not, she is still someones child.  Beth deserves some

type of closure.  Our daughter has been going to Aruba, with grandparents since she was 15 years

old: now is 28- and still goes.  All Arubians should not have to pay the price because of the acts of

a few.  We have time share for years, and while the people are friendly and kind, her opinion of

Aruba has changed since this incident.  Our son went on a class trip to Canada and came home

with a tattoo and we were upset.  We can only imagine what the Holloways are going through.

My turn.  What kind of senior high school trip is to Aruba?  You have got to be kidding me.  Why has

the school not accepted some of the responsibility?  Where were the chapperones and why were

they not mentioned during the investigation?  I think class trips, in general, should be re evaluated.

I think a lawsuit against the Dutch Government should be pushed as far as possible.  It is obvious

that a coverup has occurred in Aruba- justice for the Holloway family is needed

A boycot of Aruba is not the answer- imagine if other countries did it to us everytime a murder or rape occurred in the US.  Justice is justice in any language.

Our thoughts and prayers have been with the Holloway family from the beginning.

i agree with your wife...i think you are losing site of the real issue here.  arubians are not paying the price by the acts of a few...it's because of their government as a whole.  maybe the arubian people should put pressure on their own government.  HELLO, having sex with someone who is incoherent is RAPE.  you should really rethink putting your daughter in danger.  oh and  by the way, a tattoo is nothing compared to the loss of a child.  as dr. phil would say, "get real".
