living in a state that relies heavily on tourist dollars I would like to remind those in favor of Boycott that Tourism works both ways... There are those of us here in America that depend on tourist dollars for our lively hood. We here in Florida have been boycotted by European tourists and others,  when a rash of violence against foreign tourists who were murdered at rest stops along our American highways and in our cities (Miami) took place right here in,  yes,  this self-righeous county. 

 In this state we have Thousands of foreign property owners, who vacation here and pay taxes on their properties. Should these people Boycott the USA (Florida) we here would suffer great financial loss. People losing jobs, homes etc etc.  

America is more violent than many countries ( that are tourist destineations).  For many of the crimes committed on the tourists visiting here this state (country) could not provide answers, reasons, perpetrators etc. to families of those dead and injured. Think about the families (mothers, childrens etc) who WE could not give answers...... 

When you visit Florida We advertise a "fun paradise relaxing visit"  to a "magical world"..... 

You can still be raped, robbed, murdered, car-jacKed, kid-napped, held hostage in your Motel room minutes away from Theme parks, etc right here in Magical Florida...USA 

Now here in Florida authorities attempt to find your perpertrator but no guarantee is given, Just like the weather should you come for a visit and we have a hurricane, no guarantee... 

When someone American or from the planet Pluto travels into another country The traveler is the visitor and should act accordingly.... The only paradise is in the after life, not anywhere on earth. 

When you are in another country, you are exactly that, in another country, where they may or may not do things just like in America.... Where you do not get a guarantee.... 

Like a lot of viewers I found the "Special Advisor" to Aruba to be very disturbing: 

What bothered me? 

- his media announcement  (over key holiday tourism period) of upcoming interrogation, then delay and then no questioning of boys at all ... appears transparently dishonest because at some point he found out it was not true and said nothing publicly to correct his misleading statements. 

- he was stalling / spinning this out over time to avoid boycott / defuse American anger toward Aruba  

- his agenda is as clear as his paycheck (i.e: Tourism dollars not Justice for missing girl) 

- what is he doing "personally" unlocking the jail cells?  (bizarre - he has no legal standing)?  

- promising  "information" in a few weeks that will resolve the case, another roller coaster play with the family's emotions, another stall attempt that is equally as trustworthy as his "interrogation" promise. 

- what is a Tourism lobbyist doing with all this legal information that the family doesn't have? 

Dutch citizens and other foreign posters are evading the REAL issue  - this situation has not been investigated properly, communication with family has been very poor, and the "Special Advisor" has been hired to stall and delay to avoid the Aruba boycott over the xmas holiday season.   

Innocent until proven guilty is fine, but at a minimum there is enough evidence to charge the boys with obstruction of justice.  Yet they were all allowed to leave leave Aruba. 

As a Canadian, I know the US is not perfect, US foreign policy is often selfish and selfserving, and the US deosn't search for missing foreigners enough.  But focus on THIS case - here Aruba is wrong, the US family is right and the "Special Advisor" appears to be dishonest, stalling and motivated by tourism dollars not justice for the missing girl. 

Dr. Phil should have called the Special Advisor on his stalling tactics more than he did. 

Dr. Phil should continue the call for a boycott of Aruba, it is only way to pressure Aruba into doing anything. 

Boycott Aruba. 

After yesterdays show I see the cover-up that's going on in Aruba.  It's crystal clear.  Aruban Gov't is hiding some dirty stuff like being involved in sex slave trade.  I'll bet the Gov't is promoting it.  I think there's a lot they are working very hard to hide.  They are creating illusions to try to hide behind.  Even this last "search" near the lighthouse.  That was supposed to make them look like they are still trying to find Natalee.  I will bet they know where she is.  This is January.  It's time for Aruba to get ready for tourist season.  I will bet they make huge efforts to find Natalee in the coming months before Spring Break and summer.  It is a big deception.  It is all for show.  To draw the masses.  Don't buy it. 

Has the thought crossed anyone's mind that Paulus Vandersloot and Karin may be involved (love affair).  Why did Karin go on Vacation so early in the investigation last year?  What was she afraid of to make her run away like that?

There is power in the pen as well as email.  Be informed when responding to this tragedy, not just emotional. Read both sites!

I know the pain of losing a child, but don't know what it's like to be in limbo.  I do hope that something will be done & that they will get the results required for healing & moving on.   

I can understand that this is a recent event, so the best thing is to keep it in the light & not  let it fade into the background.  However, I can't help but wonder what happened to the other girl, on the previous show?  When they were talking about kidnappings & prostitution.  That girl that was taken from a cruise ship about 13 years ago & is assumed to be in the sex trade because of some pictures that look like her.  Along with the way that she was positioned to hide the tattoos that she had.  Is there any progress being done in her case?   

It would be wonderful to have these families findt he healing that they truely need!  My prayers are will you all!
