What is your taping schedule?
Dr. Phil generally tapes two shows a day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Arrival times are between 8:00-8:15 AM. Audience will enjoy back-to-back shows and be out at approximately 1:00 PM PT.

The show generally tapes from August through mid December, and then from January through May, excluding holidays.

Is there an age requirement?
You must be at least 18 years old to attend a taping. If the topic permits, you can be 16 or 17 years old, provided you attend the taping with your parent or legal guardian. If this is the case, minors must have valid photo identification and a birth certificate in order to be admitted. Children under 16 will not be allowed into the studio.

How many seats can I reserve?
You may reserve up to four seats for any one taping.

What can I expect on tape days?
Please expect to wait on the sidewalk outside Paramount Studios until the doors open. Once they open, you will be admitted into a waiting area outside the studio until the stage is clear for admittance. There are benches to sit on and vending machines available once you are on the Paramount lot.

How long will the taping last?
Generally, the morning taping ENDS around 12:30PM. YOU are WATCHING TWO Dr. Phil shows at this time, and the afternoon show ENDS around 3:00PM

Is the studio wheelchair accessible? What if I have special needs?
Paramount Studios is wheelchair accessible. If you have special needs, please inform the audience coordinator when making your reservation. We will be happy to assist you.

How often can I attend a taping?
We ask that you attend Dr. Phil no more than once every four weeks unless asked back to a specific show by a member of our production staff.

Where is the audience entrance?
The audience will enter at 860 N. Gower St., one block north of Waring St., directly under the Paramount Studios/ Dr. Phil marquee

What time should I get there?

1st arrival time : Between7:30 and 8:30 a.m.

2nd arrivaltime: Between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m.



Can I change a name on my reservation?
If only one name in your party is changing, you can change it at audience check-in on the day of your taping (providing the replacement person adheres to all requirements). If you want to change more than one name on your reservation, you must call the reservation line (323.461.PHIL) prior to the date of taping, and state those name changes clearly on the voicemail.

What do I wear?
We ask that everyone dress in business attire. A pants suit and blazer is appropriate, as it does get chilly in the studio. Please DO NOT wear any white or beige clothing, elaborate patterns or jeans, as they are not preferred for the camera.

Can I take a picture or get Dr. Phil's autograph?
No cameras, recorders, cell phones, pagers, books, food, etc. will be allowed in the studio. If you bring these or any similar items, we will check them and return them to you upon leaving the studio. Unfortunately, we do not have time to sign autographs. Please do not bring Dr. Phil's books with you.

Security Check
Everyone attending the show must go through a security check before gaining access to the studio. Please downsize any purses or bags you are bringing with you.

Charitable Events
We are happy to provide a package of four tickets for you to auction off at your charity benefit. Please follow the instructions below to ensure that we can accommodate your request on time. Your request must be received one month in advance.

Due to the amount of requests we receive, we do not call to confirm receipt of your request. All requests will be honored, provided all the pertinent information is sent to us in a timely fashion. You should receive your auction package approximately three weeks prior to the date of your event. Please be patient. Good luck on your auction!

Cancellation Policy
Reservations are not guaranteed. Shows can cancel or change at any time. If your show should cancel or require a specialized audience, we will notify you as soon as possible, and do our best to reschedule you for another taping without too much inconvenience. Although we will try our best, it may not always be possible to reschedule you for another taping during your visit to Los Angeles.
