Adoption, Part 1

Longing for a Child
After four years of trying to have a baby, Jack and Jill were days away from adopting when the birth mom changed her mind.





"More than anything in the world, I want a child," Jill says.

Jack and Jill receive good news.

 


 

Placing Baby for Adoption
When 16-year-old Rachel revealed her pregnancy to her mom, Belinda, she was was sent by her parents to live in a maternity home.





"I felt very betrayed. I was pregnant and I needed my mom," Rachel says.

Rachel meets with prospective parents. 

 


 
Wishing to Be Adopted
With more than 117,00 children in the foster care system available for adoption, many have been shuffled from foster home to foster home. They long for a permanent place to live.
