About: As a Psychologist Board Certified in Family Psychology, Dr. Maryanne Watson is one of fewer than 50 women in the United States holding the distinguished ABPP certification. She has practiced in Plano, Texas for 25 years. Dr. Watson has extensive experience and expertise in: Marriage and Family Therapy, Trauma Recovery, Anxiety, Depression, Sports Psychology, Grief Recover, Hypnotherapy and Suicide Prevention.
In addition, Dr. Watson has completed original research in hypnosis and medical problems. She obtained a BA degree in Nursing from Florida State University and her doctorate in Psychology from Texas Woman's University where she was a nationally recognized scholar.
Dr. Watson is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
